GIFT3D Factory is a small business based in the United Kingdom. We sell bespoke 3D printed gifts directly to consumers via this website and via our Etsy shop at gift3dfactory.etsy.com. What Data We Collect

When you place an order or submit an enquiry through our website, we collect: your name, your email address, your phone number (if provided), your postal address for delivery, your order and personalisation details, and any additional information you choose to share. We do not collect payment card data directly — payments are processed by third-party providers.

How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data solely to: process and fulfil your order, communicate with you about your order or enquiry, arrange delivery of your item, and resolve any issues after delivery. If you subscribe to our mailing list, we will send you occasional marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email. We do not sell your data. We share it only where necessary to fulfil your order (e.g. Royal Mail, courier services) or with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf (see Third Party Processors below).

Third Party Processors

We use the following third-party services to operate our business: Stripe for secure payment processing (your card data is held by Stripe and never seen by us); Klaviyo for email marketing (your email address is stored by Klaviyo if you subscribe to our mailing list — see klaviyo.com/legal/privacy for their policy); Royal Mail and other couriers for delivery (your name and address are shared as required); and Cloudflare for website hosting and basic anonymised traffic analytics (no personal data is collected by Cloudflare analytics). All processors are contractually bound to handle your data in accordance with UK GDPR.

International Transfers

We ship worldwide, which means your delivery address will be shared with the relevant courier or postal service operating in your country. Where we use third-party processors based outside the UK (such as Klaviyo, which is US-based), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses or reliance on adequacy decisions, in line with UK GDPR requirements.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain order information for up to 7 years in line with UK tax and accounting requirements. Enquiries that do not result in an order are deleted after 12 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements), object to processing of your data, and lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
